Dolby-Certified Mix Stage

Our Dolby Certified theatrical mix stage features a 43 speaker Dolby Atmos system, an 8 metre wide woven screen and seating for up to 30 clients. The room is designed to provide a true theatrical mixing environment that accurately translates to commercial cinemas. Working in a full size cinema space allows mixers and filmmakers to focus entirely on the creative process. Reference grade picture and sound give our clients the confidence that audiences will experience their project as intended. Switching over to Home Entertainment calibration allows us to prepare projects for streaming services and broadcast platforms.

Professional Mixing Infrastructure

The stage is equipped with a 48 fader, dual operator Avid S4 console, enabling two mixers to work seamlessly in parallel. Two dedicated Pro Tools HD playback systems handle the most complex sessions, while an Avid MTRX‑equipped Pro Tools HDX3 Stem Recorder (192 inputs) handles all routing and stem capture.

DCI Projection
-
DCI projection allows you to view the project as your audience will experience it in the cinema. The studio walls and ceiling are decorated in matte black to maximise the image quality. Reducing the light reflections during screenings allows only light from the projector to reach the audience’s eyes.

Content Security

We are committed to working on your project safely and securely. The Trusted Partner Network (TPN) is an industry-wide content security initiative owned by the Motion Picture Association. The MPA Content Security Best Practices define a strong framework for how creative companies handle pre-release content. Achieving TPN Blue Shield status indicates that Point1Post has submitted security information to TPN+ and is now awaiting a third-party security assessment by a TPN-accredited assessor.
