Point1Post was founded in 2005 by Graham Daniel and Adam Daniel. Their creativity, technical expertise and attention to detail shape every aspect of the work that leaves the studio. Together, they ensure your project runs smoothly from the first conversation to the final delivery.
Adam graduated in 1999 with a degree in Software Systems for the Arts and Media. He began his film career in the sound department at Shepperton Film Studios. Under the mentorship of industry veteran Ray Merrin, he learned the craft of film mixing and became a key figure in Shepperton’s transition from analogue to digital post production.
During his six years at Pinewood Shepperton, Adam earned a BAFTA nomination and contributed to numerous major projects before leaving to establish Point1Post. He has since mixed more than 180 feature films.
Adam is also an accomplished Sound Editor and is available for sound supervision, as well as consultancy on studio installations and post production workflows for a range of companies.
Graham holds a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, earned while working at Elstree Film Studios. His early training included time at EMI Research Laboratories, Abbey Road Studios, and Thames Television. He went on to become Chief Sound Maintenance Engineer and Deputy Head of Post Production Facilities at Elstree.
In 1994, Graham became a freelance Re Recording Mixer, forming a new team with Ray Merrin and mixing projects across England, Germany, France, and Greece.
In 1995, at the request of new studio owner Ridley Scott, Graham and Ray joined Shepperton Film Studios to help enhance and expand the facility’s post production capabilities. Over ten successful years at Shepperton, Graham earned four BAFTA nominations before leaving to co found Point1Post in 2005.
